Looking for a 5-speed S13 hatch; I don't care much whether its SOHC or DOHC but would prefer a car already manual transmission (or having been converted). I'd prefer it running, but I'll consider it so long as it's a clean car. I'm wanting to do a built 1jz swap with a Z33/Z34 transmission plus a ton of other work. So high miles is ok so long as the frame isn't rusted out or something.
My bike is a 1998 black Yamaha Vmax with 21k miles. The problem with it is the low-speed fuel circuits on the carbs are gummed up and I don't have the time or willpower to go in and clean them. It got gummed up because it sat too long when I moved out here to Central Florida (Melbourne).
I can start it up and make it idle, but when throttle is applied, it dies. Before it sat, the bike ran very strong and pulled well; the previous owner claimed he rebuilt the motor at 18k, and considering how well the bike ran with no leaks or burning any oil; I was inclined to believe him. Definitely a head turner as its a power cruiser (145hp stock and very torquey; and though I never raced it, these bikes frequently dipped into the 10s with the right rider).
