Nissan 240sx Hatch Shell

1989 240SX WHITE HATCH BACK shell for sale. Note, this vehicle is a rolling chassis selling without motor and transmission. Car was intentionally purchased to turn into a drift car.

Have complete sr20det motor and s13 transmission, selling separately. Serious inquires only. Will sell everything together if you are interested in that type package, cost can be discussed.

Performance modifications on vehicle are as follows:
Set of Tokico blue shocks with Eibach springs in front, rear Stance coilovers, GodSpeed front (30.05mm) and rear sway bar (28.29MM), VLSD, Megan flex down pipe, full 3" exhaust with punched cat, deep sounding. Brand new in the box Energy Suspension steering rack bushings.

INTERIOR:
S14 front seats, 2 Autometer gauges - oil pressure and boost - in A-pillar pod, battery relocated to behind passenger seat. All interior behind front seats has been removed.

EXTERIOR:
Minor rust on doors and hatch (have 2 replacement doors that are in great condition that go with the car)
17 inch 5-spoke wheels, not sure what brand, with (205/40/17 tires)

the sr has been completely rebuilt with brand new OEM parts, 5-6k miles
s15 dual ball bearing turbo with resurfaced ceramic coated iron manifold (250 miles max), installed new stainless steel oil feed line, with fire resistant cover, sr20det return line kit from FRSport. S14 water outlet from FRSport with new water lines that all have fire proof heat resistant covers purchased from Summit Racing.
Have custom intake with Q45 maf, intercooler piping with r32 intercooler, 2 row aluminum radiator, ka throttle body (also have s13 TB), HKS Black Ed BOV on intake pipe, stock injectors, resurfaced stock flywheel, 5 speed tranny with Circuit Sports short shifter. APEXi SAFC II, s13 ecu, and a APEXi Power FC I was going to swap in to get the car tuned.

you can purchase a motor of the internet for $2,500 with 45k miles on it, stock turbo, side mount intercooler, stock rad, stock clutch. this motor was completely disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled with all new parts, pistons, valve train, cams, cam gears approx $1,400 there, not including money spent to get it all done. Nissan Factory OEM S15 Spec R Ball Bearing Turbo Garrett GT28R $1,200. That's $5,100 and you're getting a lot of other items. So I don't feel I am completely out of sight; and I did specify OBO.

KBB sucks, NADA is a more accurate. . . high retail car is worth $4,800, low $2,000, so less a motor which you can get for 500-800 at your local yard, offer me 1500, i can get 300 at the scrap yard. . .if you know anything about the market, price is increased by demand, simple economics, there is a demand for 240s in the market, which will increase the price asked, doesn't mean that's what it will sell for. . . im sorry but stance coils, these the original model before there were 5 types to get, are pretty damn good coils, fronts didn't last so I had to get something in my price range to keep the car moving. not sure why people are so quick to judge other avid enthusiasts, it's really the down fall of the car scene, but mostly in the import car scene.

since when is there a huge demand for SRs and 240s? 240s like a condom. you put your junk it in. beat it to shit. and throw it away.

you do realise that a car without a motor is worth its price in scrap right? it pretty much has zero market value. that doesnt mean that you take the value of the car and subtract the cost of the motor. PLUS. that estimated value is for a STOCK 240sx. not a car that someone put a bunch of shitty offbrand parts on and punched out the catalytic converter. why? because your market scope is now narrowed to the people on this board. cheap. broke. teenagers. you win!
