Want to do a front end conversion on an S13

Since then I thought I should opt out of buying a kouki and go with an S13 and make it look like that. So I have some basic s13 and conversion questions.

1. Did the S13 convertable come with manual tranny's or just auto?

2. How much would that conversion cost (Fenders, hood, front end)?

3. What I or V6 engines does the S13 comfortably accomodate?

4. If you had the money, would you? (I don't have the money...yet)

Only auto tranny.

A fair amount of money depending on the level of quality you wanna have. But I would figure on it costing more than $1000 on parts alone - and then you'll need to paint it all. :)

SR20DET's and RB series engines will fit.

Damn, sucks that they're only auto tranny's. Then I guess I could do that to a coupe. S13's are less rare and less expensive than kouki's. Would the conversion balance it out?

Get a bomex kit keep the 240 front end cause it looks better

what do you mean? there are no kouki rps13s available here unless you mean the chuki model?

i think he's talkin about 97-98 koukis. but thats just a guess. that's probably what most newbies want..

That is what I was talking about....and I'll be the first to admit I'm some what of a newb. I have alot of car knowledge but not as much as you guys.

way more than $1000 for s15 conversion parts. i'd say at least 2k even if you pick out a cheap ass crappy fitment frp knockoff bumper, poor fitting conversion fenders, and pos see through cf hood.

if i had to get ANOTHER 240, i'd buy a convertible just cuz they're sexy w/ some d2 footwork and w/ my set of demon cambers on azenis and w/ mah sr. the 5spd conversion isn't hard especially when u have 2 parts cars. damnz, just thinkin about it makes me want to put the ka24de back in mah sil80 and buy one....ne1 want a sil80..i could put the stock front end back on if u don't like mah beat up silvia front end
