look on the bright side, we aren't paying what the Japanese and Europeans are paying. $3.00 +!Yeah no wonder everyone has either super small cars/trucks or ride motorized bike there....Doesn't go buy litres there too? So isn't it really 3.00 per litre?! I HOPE NOT ! :faint:
i hope when we're done with Iraq the gas prices come back down to $.99

I use to pay .95-.99 for gas when I first started driving. I remember going to the bay and all my friend and I needed was 5 bucks for my old 3tc corolla to get there from Modesto.
My parents use to pay 85-92 cents at 7 eleven when I was young in fresno. Funny shit.

In NC, there is this small franchise of gas stations named Gate, that come onto high-traffic blocks and introduce their gas and EXTREMELY (comparitively) low prices, like everyone on the block can be 1.69, 1.79, and 1.89 for 87, 89, and 93 octane respectively, Gate will charge 1.66 and 1.76 for both 89 and 93... Here's the kicker, high traffic areas ALREADY have good gas stations who would not be able to compete without lowering THEIR prices, so you can go to the Mobile or BP Aamoco across the street and get similar prices on good gas. Now that I see that YOU guys are paying 2.00+ for gas, I won't even bitch about the rising price of gas around here for a little while longer, seeing as how the HIGHEST I have seen 93 octane is 1.89/gallon in the last little while...
