OK.. I know cars, or at least I thought I did. I also know that the S13 pump is under the trunk.... small hole access. But because the S14 fuel tank is under the rear seat... I thought naturally that the access hole would be under the seat..... wrong. Ok, I give WTF is it...!! Wanna do the Walbro install.

Thanx, and go ahead...flame me :wiggle:

The access panel is in the trunk towards the rear passenger side.

which walbro kit are you using?

i was silly and made an FD3S kit work. the sock for the fuel intake is a lot shorter than the stock one. so far this hasn't been abig deal, but it is a little irksome.

Ty Yap did a writeup (in the freshally FAQs) where he found a more similar sock.

the one issue i had with my installation was that i didn't like the included connectors, so i bought some heat shrink ones to replace those included in the kit (the idea of sparks in petrol vapors scares the fark outta me)

I again stress that the S14 does not have an access hole in the trunk.... Could someone plz direct me in the right direction?
The Walbro kit I am using seems almost to be a universal kit.... A $89 Ebay decision, hope I did **** up. The parts kit bag I have has a 400-766 number on it. Thanx again all.

Lay down the rear seat and look into the trunk, you should see the access panel. I have installed a Walbro pump into a S14 but it has been over a year so I cant give exact directions. I know it was accessable from the trunk but I think I also accessed it from the back seat.

yea, it is easier to access from the trunk but the back seat will work too. You know when you open the trunk and you see the big open space? Look up on that "shelf" that is near the back seat, lift the carpet up on the right hand (passenger) side and you will see the access panel. you will need a 10mm socket to remove it exposing the plastic thing you will have to loosen which is a major pain in the ass. It's even worse to tighten down all the way.
