Well Figured I would post here since WSP has spammed the living fuck out of google :picardfp:

I got everything on my motor hooked up but when I got to the lower harness I noticed the 2 lower plugs to the fuse box do not plug in.... do I have to have th KA24DE lower harness to get this to run?

I TOOK PICS TO GET ANSWERS!!! This might help others in the future.. actually IT WILL!

ok on the left the pic is the USDM KA24DE (kouki) S14 Harness on the right JDM SR20DET (Kouki) S14 harness. as you can see on the left the plug is black and is almost a twin of the one on the SR harness that is grey. This plug is WIRE FOR WIRE the same just need to swap it I assume.

Now the Triangle plug is different. it has 3 connections on the KA24DE harness that plugs into the fuse box (these are both fuse box plugs) The SR20DET harness has a 2 prong plug. Heres the catch from what I can see (might be color blind) the wires are EXACT same color. Can I take the KA plug cut it off and run on the SR20 harness and run both the wires (both are yellow with blue line same with SR harness but it has 1 blue with yellow wire) to the one yellow wire on the SR20DET harness???

please help me here are more pics below to help with this.

The plug that is giving me trouble one is triangle shaped other is flat and round.

Why couldnt you just swap all your matching KA sensors over to the SR tranny and use your KA lower harness so you didnt have to splice anything? Complete plug and play...

the knock sensor I assume what it is the plug IS different on the harness not plug and play dont care what ANY half ass thread says I have both harnesses and it is NOT plug and play those threads are bullshit I used the search function.

So go find the one of the 1,000,000 SR swap walkthroughs online and follow the wiring in there. Who cares what the plugs are like rewire them according to a wiring diagram and use whatever plug has enough pins.

Or save yourself some headaches and do it right.

"Another thing you might notice: One of the SR20's plugs will not mate to your USDM chassis harness. Grab that trusty KA harness and find the corresponding plug. You will notice that the SR20 harness has more wires than your KA did for that plug. Again, match them up properly and strip, remove, or tape and pull back the ones not in use." from http://zilvia.net/f/tech-talk/209158-how-s14sr-into-s14-chassis.html

Not thread, this is how I did my SR swap. I always use the KA lower harness and sensors so I dont have to mess with anything for the lower harness.

I have come to this same problem with the 3 pin and 2 pin plugs... what did you end up doing to get it to work?

The 2 pin plug is for an auto chassis and the 3-pin is a manual chassis.
They use the same terminals, so swapping them out is very easy.

We have these plugs in stock as well, if you need either of them.
