sr20det motors trans?

I was just wondering how well these trans are? Do the teeth chip a lot? I know with wrx's they have a weak tranny thats known to break, how about the sr?

They are fine, For mine I used a Sr Bellhousing with a Ka tranny. The Ka tranny should withstand 600hp+. The Sr one is slightly weaker.

ps: I have both a sr and ka tranny and a Ka bellhousing for 50$ a peice.

once you get into the 500hp, start looking for new tranny solutions. (ie. dog boxes, full cross missions, etc)

Yep, and I know 99% of us wont get, want, or need more then 500hp in a 240, so Im 99% sure you'll be fine.
