DRFT your an idiot , i wasnt talking about shifters , i meant what kinda of oil filter should i use , should i use a G20t its a 2.0L just like and sr20 , should i use the 200sx oil filter , they have a 2.0L , or maybe even a sentra SE-r they have a 2.0L. THe bottom line is which oil filters are compatible to use on a JDM sr20

we understand the concept, but why the fuck are you asking it in a thread titled: thread size for shifter
you seem confused with the use of this thing we call a forum.
also, please compare post counts... doesnt mean anything definite, but 8 to 2,586... you lose :)
make up your own thread dumbass, instead of high jacking someone elses...

trixx: you don't need to change the oil filter on the sr. just keep running the same one you have already on it. they are washable. just rinse it out with dishwater.
and last I heard a true 180sx can't be imported from japan. I know a guy thats trying. it isn't legal to be street driven.

since the original poster didn't post any specifics...it's 10mm for s13/s14 and 12mm for S15. If S15 was 10mm, I would have kept my spec-r shift knobs :(

you can machine sleeves that will make the 12mm fit on a 10mm threaded shifter.

If it was as easy to do as you make it sound, I wouldn't have sold my 3 S15 knobs...
I posted on the tech forums on that exact topic...got no help.
oh well
