I may get a bride zeta III but wanted to hear from some people that have them. My only concern is fitment. I am 6'2 and around 230lbs, think i will be able to fit? Also what would you guys pay for a used seat in exellent condition with bride rails?

Bwahahaha, there is no way your ass would fit in that seat. It's designed for people around 5"8, 130lbs. What you need is the Zeta III Type L, which is designed for our fat american asses. It will still be tight with your frame though.

What he said. haha
I just know that big people can't fit in normal sized Bride seats. I am 6'1, but 170lbs and I think that I will need the Zeta III L... but I'm afraid I will slide around in it, but if I get the III my ass won't fit.

Hey guys......forgive me for the tiny hijack attempt here, but I was wondering something. On Raretrick's website they mention in thier adds of the Bride seats of the seats being available in "Gradation"...what the hell does that mean...anyone know?

For your frame (6'2 230) You might have to go domestic. A buddy of mine is a similer size and he didn't like how any of the Brides felt. He's rockin a Corbaeu (sp). They're nice seats too, just built wider for people like us..well, not me (6'1, 165)

He prolly breaks it in and drops ass on it too. Breaking in new seats is such a personal experience too.

I have the Zeta III Type-L. Seat's a bit big for me, but I am using the optional padding to "fill" in the sides of the seat.

I am 5'9" and ~175lbs... I am actually a good fit into a Zeta III but the side support of the seats are not as high as I want them to be... so I'd rather get the larger seat for a better overall fit.
BTW it should be noted that you should get a seat with minimal fatigue. My Bride seat is expensive but it is the only bucket seat that I have found so far that would not give me pains over a 300 mile drive. Do remember that especially for track events, you want a seat that gives good support but does not tire you more than necessary. Fatigue from a bad seat (or seating position) can make your day end horribly.

Thanks Alex.....I figured that was what it was reffering to. I actually like that pattern on the inserts.
Alex, are you using Bride rails as well? I'm close to your figures (5'11 and 170) and was wondering how well the seat was positioned for daily driving and such.....

I'm using the Bride rails as well; the newer "ultra low" rails that are two piece rails.
The driving position is perfect for daily driving, although since the seating position is fixed you have to take advantage of the slotted holes on the rails to get the position right.

I sat in the Bride Zeta III L size. And it was still a snug fit.
I'm 6 feet, 220 lbs with a 38" waist.
New for the Zeta III is like 700. so used if you can get it for 550-600 is a good deal.
if you want new I can get ya a hookup...

i sat in the zeta 3L at D1, it was awesome, perfect for me, i'm 6 feet 200, with 34 waist.
i'm saving up for one right now.
Alex: the bride guys told me that you told them the zeta 3l doesn't fit with the cusco roll cage? something about the cross bar being in the way. is that true?

Actually what it was was that the older 1 piece rails were not low enough, and the Zeta II Type-L hit my roll cage.
With the ultra-low rails that they have now, fitment is not an issue.
