:-/ So I bought a '93 coupe a while back and it had a '95 swaped in. I really wasn't too concerned with the swap (quality) as I was going to put a SR in there eventually. But the more and more I think about it I want to just run DSP for a few years and take a break from modding....

Anywho, I've noticed that there is a some power lacking on the top end, some loose nuts and bolts here and there. The general problems as you can imagine. What concerns (sensors, wiring, ECU parameters) should I be concerned with? I've already noticed that the '93 Coupe has a 3 pin MAF jammed into a 4 pin harness (definately a different MAF than in my all stock '91). I'm fairly sure that the '93 has the original ECU and wiring.

:bash: to my impulse by. Another problem is my O2 wiring is getting cooked with no heat sheild. I blew off a power steering line (the one held on by the 21 mm ish bolt). Electrical gremlins. Alternator bolt came undone halfway through a 250 mile trip..... But I had to have a coupe.. :(

Is the check engine light on? Do a search on how to check for ecu codes if so. You might also want to get a 95 mafs because it seems they might have used the 95 harness and ecu.

The MAF wiring is the same my '91 four pin (but with three wires) but the MAF is different. The wiring doesn't look like it was removed and replaced leading me to believe that it was the original wiring. The check engine light is not on.

I'm just wondering if anyone knew off the top of their head if for example X pressure sensor reads 0 - 5 v for '91 - '93 cars and reads 0 - 3 v for '95 and newer. Just the :blah: :blah: I'm confident I can sort things out eventually just wanted to get a jump start on paper first.....

I swithced the MAF to the '91 MAF. Idle is better and doesn't stall any more. However the power falls off after 4000+ rpm. It seems to be stronger when engine is cold. Any other thoughts. Timing is set @ 22*.
