ok...so i searched for some answers on how to fit some wheels i'm getting.
car is not lowered (yet).
rear - 17x9 +10 tanabe precedero w/ 225-45-17
front- 17x8.5 +25 gram lights 57s w/ 215-45-17 (i might go lower)
i'd probably have to add in maybe a 10mm spacer for the rears.
body would have to be pulled in the rear, i don't think the fronts have to unless i go below 20 and/or 15. (i think i can clear without pulling/rolling until i lower it)
if you think this setup is strange for a stock ka.. it is.... these are just some wheels i'm getting pretty cheap (and just for some cruising).....and for the preformance minded people, i have a set of r32 gtr's for the track.
btw...i think DoriftoSlut had/has a similar setup but he didn't elaborate on his overall setup. ( well he did, but i got confused a bit there)
any info/suggestions would be good
thanks,
Bbandit

looking the offset.. i think the rears will stick out more than the fronts..
is this the way you want them to be?
personally.. i always prefer lower offset for the front if i go with staggered wheels so they will stick out just about the same

I have S13 with about a 10-15mm pull in the rear and a slight pull in the front not much. Rolled fenders front and rear (obviously). 17x9 +10 all 'round 215/40/17 up front and 215/45/17 for street driftor 225/45/17 for track drifting in the rear.
Camber currently is -2.75 deg. front and -2.5ish rear. Because of the pulled fenders I want to do -1.75 to -1.5 camber in the rear to get rear tires a little more grip and durability.
I have S13 FLCA and S13 rear subframe. Your track will be wider if you use S14 FLCA and Rear subframe. Or S15. That means more neg. camber would be necessary to fit within my fenders.
Also, I have JIC FLT-A2 coilovers For 9 inch wheel i need +25 offset or lower to clear in front.
Things that do not really matter for this are:
SPL Parts Z32 tie rods and Uras spacer
SPL Parts TC Rods
SPL Parts RUCA
SPL Parts Subframe spacers
S13 JDM/Hicas rear sway bar.
No gay strut tower bars. And with ~220hp or so est. to the wheels i have a perfect time for my style with this setup. Only thing i could want more of is stretch on 225s. A 9.5 rim would be perfect but thats not easy to find or rather, quick to get. The reason I use 215/45 on the rear for street/touge drifting is cause i do not want to snap understeer into a rock, a wall, a curb, etc... For track, the speeds are higher and the obstacles are less threatening so i can REALLY push the car and LOVE the 225s.
Hope this explains things a little better. :)

actually i'm not looking for a staggered offset (at least not intentionally) i wanted a bit higher offset so then i wouldn't have to do too much work fitting them, i didn't measure the fronts too much but i may get a low offset of like 15-20.

forgot to mention but i'm running a 95 240sx(sorry, i mistook that you had a s14), your setup is good from the overall specs though. but by running 215/40/17 up front and 215/45/17 in the rear, how is the handling, compared to 45 in the front.
Thanks for the information.

215/40 allows for more caster and for the coilovers to be set lower without rubbing anything in the weel well. I also bent all the pressed seams in the front well that can cut tires (A must for a super low setup).
anyways the tires perform great and provide super crisp turn in. Also not at all short on grip (Falken ST115 up front).
