I just hooked up consult and it's throwing code 11 which is cam position sensor. My car runs but feels sluggish... Obviously the car is getting spark. Any ideas in what could be causing the code?

have u tried swapping the cas?

it could be a simple as you started the car with pulled timing, short, low voltage or etc.
the first thing i would do is, clear the code, then disconnect the cas plug, then reconnect.
start car let idle then, check codes. if codes are gone. next i would check timing. reset if necessary.

I'll try that first thing tomorrow. Will it throw code 11 if the timing is off? The car has been really sluggish. I read a thread and the guy had the exact same symptoms as me and his 180* signal had no voltage. I need to get in there with a multimeter

I've never seen that happen, but I'm not saying it's impossible.
I usually see people install the CAS 180deg off and need to reninstall it, but no code just a back fire. I've seen people off a few degs and hav the cas retarded all the way with no codes.

The cas is used for reference so if it's off then timing is off, but the ecu won't know because it assumes it's set right. The stock ecu isn't that smart.

I say clear the codes, check, reset timing and see what happens after that. If there is an electrical issue it's probably not the CAS itself.
