Blown head gasket on my 94 s13.

The FSM has all of the torque specs, and tells you basically how to do the job, I know that.

From experience, can anyone give me any pointers or anything?

Should I do anything else while head is off?

I know to check the deck, but how can you do that?

Also, I've never pulled my KA apart like this before, so what tools will I need?

besides torque wrench and obviously a socket set, RTV silicone (orange), and maybe some degreaser

by the way this KA24DE has 147,000 miles on it so if it's not too tough I would also want to do the front main seal if its not too much of a bitch

May not completely answer your question but this video helps SO MUCH when doing head gaskets. It only shows how to remove so you'll need the torque specs. Watch it a couple times and you'll become a pro.
