View Full Version : Annoying bearing issue for s13 Chasis

I am having a frustrating issue with my s13 at the moment.

Here is the story...

When I bought my car, it already came with the ichiba s13 hubs.

After a period of time, it began to make howling noise from my left driver

side. I believed the suspect was the wheel bearing, so I decided instead of

buying a s14 flca..etc.. I just buy some new Attain hubs.

NOW after the install, it went away for a while but now it seems like its

coming back again to haunt me.

Did anyone have this kind of problem?

Any suggestions or inputs will be appreciated!

Make sure you're running the dust cap on the hubs.

You can also replace the wheel bearings -- no reason to swap the whole hub.

Suggestion: use nissan hubs. They cost money for a reason: they last.

Could it be a different side now? Maybe the back?

Qutoed for truth!

I use OEM Nissan hubs in the rear, my fronts are Circuit Sports. I have had good luck with them.

Check all your bushings, alignment, ball joints etc... Maybe something else is causing the hubs to prematurely fail.

Worse case, keep the hubs and have OEM Nissan bearings pressed on.

wait does anyone where I can get OEM bearings? I've looked around and I can only find oem replacements.

im sure they have it, then local dealers would have it also, they'd just have to order them.
