I have a problem with my engine right now. Its an s13 sr20det. My wide band gauge is reading full rich ( idle, cruising, acceleration ) not sure if the gauge is messed up or not but i replaced the wideband sensor, but same thing.
The plugs and half black and half white when i pulled then out, also the top of the pistons look wet on all 4 pistons, but the plugs are dry. The car does not smoke whatsoever and i did a compression check , everything was ok.
Ive replaced all the typical things:
fuel filter
maf
cas
ignitor chip
plugs
coil packs and harness
intake manifold
and checked for:
fuel pressure ( good )
leaks ( good )
timing ( good )
also when i am driving for example , in second gear at 1/2 throttle accelerating at about 4k rpm it will start cutting out, hesitating,bogging and as soon as i give it full throttle it pulls just fine.
Car still pulls just fine at full throttle.
Car has : t28, enthalpy, denso 550, z32 maf
i also pulled off the injectors ( while still connected to fuel lines and turn the car to "on" to turn fuel pump on. Nothink leaked out so i know the rings are just fine.
Could this be an actual injector problem on all 4 injectors,
im also in the process of replacing the tps
Or could the valve seals be leaking oil which is causing the half burn half white plugs.
Also the car idles fine and drives fine but just those weird problems , ALSO im getting horrible gas mileage
