Yes, the concept. I was looking through my R&Ts from way back in the '90s and saw the article. I wondered about the powerplant, so I opened the mag. 2389cc inline-four, huh? I wonder if that's a KA24DE... oh, it is? Rated at
[email protected] and
[email protected]? Compression was raised to 10.7:1 using forged pistons and secret cams were used. That makes me think that would be easily obtainable on a similar KA. Just wanted to share what I done found.

IIRC it is a KA24DE and Nissan Motorsports did the work to it.

Thank God they tossed out that one in favor of the 350Z. I remember how much we (Z-car enthusiasts on another forum) hated that when it came out. That car was just a fugly 240SX. Concept cars usually boast more HP than production versions since they don't have to pass emissions or have a warranty. I bet that if they had been stupid enough to release that it would have been around 170 maybe 180 HP.

so true... its just that going from V6 to I4 is not a very smart move if you ask me..

Eww...looked like a 240z and a 300zx mated and produced a S14 bastard child!!!
