ok i have a stock 92 s13 coupe. only mods are welded diff, coilovers, and z32 fuel filter. i have searched and searched and no one seems to have my answer. the car has a hesitation under light acceleration only usually between 2000 and 3000rpm. it is much worse when the car is cold. car idles perfect its very smooth and quiet, revs out cleanly to 7000 at full throttle no issues. only under light acceleration is this issue happening which makes it aggrevating to daily drive in traffic.

things check/replaced: new ngk plugs regapped, wires, cap, rotor button, fuel filter, maf was clean but cleaned again. tried all octanes of fuel and different brands.

could it be a fuel pump going bad, is there a way to test cts or iacv.

im a dsm guy so im not the keenest on 240 knowledge. but i love it and its my daily.

hey man try running sea foam threw the gas tank(a full tank). itll run kinda ruff cuz its cleaning abunch of stuff out. but once you put a new tank in it should do it. also try puting it threw the hose on the break booster. sea foam works wonders on my cars. try it man.

Check the wiring from the MAF and its connector sometimes wires get exposed and due to vibrations it causes to loosen the wires

when an iacv goes bad it realy messes with your revs... so u would probably be having different symptoms, a CTS would cause your car to run a lil rich and that could mess with you a little bit the eziest troubble shoot for that though is, get your car hot shut it off and try to turn it back on if it just fires right up its probably not that, but if it hesitates a bit its a quick fix so pop it ;) and a fule pump going bad you would knotice it more in the higher rev range when your injectors r asking for more fule but not getting it.... and here is a good maf troubble shooting tutorial 1989-1994 240sx: MAF problems tutorial : Nissan Online Mechanic (http://forums.nicoclub.com/1989-1994-240sx-maf-problems-tutorial-t254283.html) that should be a good start =D
