I have traded my 95 240sx for a 03 wrx. I have lost a bit of mileage but this little thing is pretty fun to drive. Anyone else made the jump to awd? The trade has worked out for me with the snowy weather we have had this year. I realy hope to find another 240sx currently looking for a s13 with no sunroof around home

I have a turbo legacy. It's pretty quick in a straight line but doesnt handle that well. I'm sure a wrx or sti handles better. I like it quite a bit, but still prefer rwd for my "toy" car.

When I make the move to AWD, it'll be with a 911 turbo.

it is a Nightmare but easy to work on. remembering hearing about the 03 WRX EJ205 blew a gasket....... well it just turns out (subaru) has found the problem that had headgasket failure... people should take note.
i bought a GC. and would like for the STI engine in it.

anyways.... stay away from DEX-Cool.... contains an additive that penetrates your head gasket Sebacate and 2-EHA (2-ethylhexanoic acid)

Easier to work on than many other cars I've had. I don't modify my dd though, so maybe that's why mine has been reliable.

DEX-Cool is for GM's... it turns to "orange bang"(sludge) in other non-gm cars. Different type of aluminum alloy used, other aluminum blocks are not designed to handle the corrosive additives in the DEX-Cool coolant formula

correct!!! Why is it that we find on a Subaru which some owners don't know about... and yes different aluminum alloys but still. Chevy vans have head gasket issues. Remember that not only dexcool coolants use this additives.

GM  so, defective from the factory. Somebody's gotta make rental cars...

Subaru good, though.

I have a couple subarus. My daily is a 98 Impreza coupe, and my ex's car (now for sale) is a 98 Legacy GT. Also working on an 04 imprea wagon. Theyre great dailys. The nonturbo ones anyway. But no comparison to a 240.

I've got an 04 WRX wagon for the DD. Basic upgrades, Cobb Accessport, STi up-pipe, 3" downpipe. I don't bother learning all that 'its a stage 32 mod' BS that Subaru owners always go on about. They don't realize it, but it makes them sound like Neon SRT-4 owners. But, I'm not getting rid of my 240, so I'm still a Nissan owner at heart.

I love my Nissan and Subaru. AWD and RWD best of both worlds.

I picked up a WRX from a guy on this forum a few years back! I purchased the car to daily after a Marine ran me over while I was on my 636 Kawi. Fun car and great to run the local mountain roads in SOCAL.
