So I bought a S14 SR20DET and it had S14 Tomei Poncams, HKS 740s and a 2871R.
Now I was on a budget so I had the poncams taken out, replaced with Stock S15 Cams (I'm pretty sure they are same as S14) 740s replaced with S15 440s, and GT2871R replaced with Stock S15 Spec R turbo (I checked its the real deal).
My question the engine was set to run with the 1st set up on a Apexi Power FC ecu (Standalone) I now have the power FC and trying to figure out can I detune the ECU and have it put to my setup or do I have to pay someone to do it? can someone please shed some light on this?
Wait.......what??
You removed all the parts for S15 stock parts but you don't have the stock ECU? Is the PFC the same one that was originally tune for the car, or you brought it from someone else.
Reinitialize the tune, make inj corrections drive to tuner, since its an S14 model. Save your money and pay for a good tuner, with good reviews. Believe it or not they're hard to find. Save up and do your research.

You need the map tuned back down for another setup correct?
I can do this for you remotely and I'll knock off a bit for you to save some money for the help. I can probably redraft the map to you same day for you. I'll include instructions on how to install the new settings using the commander and some instructions to synch the CAS to the PFC which most tuning shops don't even remember to do but it is required to get the motor to run best with the unit. Please email me
[email protected] to inquire for more help.
PS. Thanks for the kind words Magnoliarichj!

LOL?
You can reset your Power F/C to factory settings in the menu on the commander. Its called "initialize" or something similar. (I'm not near my car to tell you the exact label)
When every motor upgrade is back to being at least somewhat close to stock settings, a reset should be fine. I would just double check the size differences between S14 and S15 injectors. If they are different, do some math and modify the injector duty cycles to suit your needs. If modified, change your MAF settings as well.
Stock Power F/C tune is very reliable and safe to drive around. No need to pay for a re-tune if your hurting for cash.

I wouldn't initialize/factory reset the FC. What Steve said was basically is what needed. TBH sell the FC find factory ECU.
