I'm changing my brake lines (flex hoses) to stainless steel ones.
On the last one, the flare nut is a little stripped from the previous owner, so I want to replace the brake line (the one connecting from the rear driver side to the rear brake fluid distributor).
I went to Kragen and they gave me a 3/16th inch diameter line. Was wondering if this is the right width. It fits into the flex hose a little too easily.
Also, should the measurements be in metric? They should make everything metric, but some are metric and some are not. Now there is even more confusion.
Anyways, can someone confirm that the brake line diameter is 3/16th inches?
TIA
NISSAN dealership is closed now, but i'll be calling them tomorrow to ask.
