I have a shell that was once a dual cam car. I had a single cam motor that I ha laying around and put it in. Got everything hooked up and then ran into a problem. The main engine harness runs from the Ecu to the engine bay no problem there but the last 10 or so pins come out if the Ecu and run up to a connector that is supposed to plug into the plug that's fixed directly above the Ecu. It doesn't fit! Wht it the best way to go about connecting them?

You're gonna need to cut those wires and hardwire the harness. Alternatively find yourself the right plug and wire that in. There are writeups for SOHC -> DOHC, you're just going to have to use some logic to determine which wires you need where because you're going from DOHC -> SOHC

This might help: www.ka-t.org :: View topic - DOHC to SOHC (http://www.ka-t.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=43312&sid=01d04855a53b72c029e2ae2b5169e87b)

Just like he^^^ says. All you have to do is get the old plug and color match the wires. I believe for an SR swap, you need 7 wires. Might be the same for ka24de --->ka24e.

Working on this today and need an answer soon. The colors are all there like stated above about 7 match up. But the old plug is separated into sections of pins that line up with the plug on the Ecu but those are different colors if you line them up like that so my question is? Color match or match the ones that line up
