SR's are legal aren't they? As long as your state doesn't care about emissions right? So you could get an sr in Va since they don't check emissions I would think.

people going crazy when you take them for a spin maybe, but I doubt that you'd get a lot of looks in a skyline. Average people really don't know much about them, so they probably wouldn't think it was anything special.

an R33 GTR would draw some looks, but in an R34 GTR you'd be a magnet, especially with a colour like pearl cobalt blue

EDIT: That guy headed his advertisment wrong a GTS has no turbo but his car is a overpriced GTS-T

friend of mine said there's an r32 gt-r on a lot for $8,000 w/ some simple mods, 2 bad none of us r there though.

yes im not kiddin, i was browing yahoo japan auctions with a translator, found an r32 GTR with under 40k miles that had a 7 point cage, a full trunk mounted fuel system, full JUN internals, everything blueprinted and balanced, trust t88-34D turbo kit, bidding was starting at 1,500,000 yen, which is what, like $13k US? no bids on it and no reserve either. japanese car auctions are sooo much better <img src="#/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>

ps it was 100% stock on the outsides, down to the wheels, basicallye verything else was completely redone out the frame. sleeper like ####...god thats my dream car.
