I have a garage find '68 Camaro that is all mostly original. I have the original owners manual and original owners protection plan warranty booklet with protecto plate. NOT VERY COMMON TO COME ACROSS THESE. It is missing the driver door panel, front grille assembly, front bumper, right rear quarter window and maybe a few other minor things. You can pretty much tell what is missing from the pictures, it is not a lot in reality for a car like this. All the original glass is there except for the rear quarter roll down window. A lot of original parts are in the trunk. I have also have a brand new edelbrock carb and edelbrock intake manifold plus everything for a complete tune up including a gasket set. The vin tells me that it is an original 327 210 Horsepower 8cyl, 2dr. Sport Coupe made in the Los Angeles, CA factory. It was then brought to Salinas, CA where it was originally sold. The paint code is Grotto Blue, it is still the original color but looks like it has been resprayed many many years ago. It has the standard blue bucket seats. I am almost positive that the engine and transmission are the original. The rear end has 3.07 Posi gears. The interior is the original blue and all mostly there, just missing the driver side door panel and maybe a couple other minor things. Car has never left California and has been sitting in a garage for a little over 17 years. There is some rust on the car from it sitting for those 17 years but nothing major or crazy like rotted floor or trunk pans. Basically it is nothing that cannot be fixed with some simple body work. It is perfect for someone looking to do a full resto on it. The last time it was registered was in '97 and I just began the process to get it registered in my name so there will be no problems in that area. Long story short this car was put into a garage 17 years ago because the original owner went to prison and he was planning on getting out, he recently found out he is not going to be released so I picked it up from his brother because he is not able to complete the resto and wants nothing to do with it. Before it was put into the garage 17 years ago the engine was completely rebuilt with brand new internals and is still not completely put back together. I just installed a brand new edelbrock aluminum intake manifold, water pump, fuel pump and thermostat today and plan on doing more with each passing day so it will most likely be up and driving within the week. Obviously I will update the thread once it is running.

I am starting the price at $11,000 or best offer and I am also considering TRADES, let me know what you have with a full spec list and pictures please.

If you are interested you can reach me at 831-277-3074 thanks.

Onto the pictures.. That is 17 year old dust folks, even the dust on the car is almost classic.

Alright well I will start at $12,000 OBO. I reallly don't know what to ask or the value in comparison to other Camaro's out there because ive seen a couple basic camaro's with no glass or engine for $10,000.
Just let me know and throw me an offer

Well first off is it an rs, ss, or z28? Also what motor, big block or small block? Next does it have a 10 bolt diff or 12? I can tell from the pics its an auto.

68s didn't hold the value quite as much as the 69s did... however some people do prefer the 68 still... I would be able to give you a better starting price depending on what all it has...

Thanks and nice find ;)

Thank you for your info. It has a 10 bolt diff. 3.07 Posi rear end. And the original 327. I know it is not an SS or an RS. It might be a Z28 based on what you told me. But let me know please and thank you

Its been awhile since I had a camaro so the only way I would be able to tell would be to look up the vin tag. I'm actually looking for a 69 Camaro right now.... you're making me sick right now wishing it was lol... I had one years ago and I have to have another...

You might be able to see if it has a spot for the z28 emblem on the rear and front grill...

It is a floor shift as apposed to the column shift... blah... lol

i know 68's aren't worth as much as a 69 and my 69 was 7500 running so you might have to come down a bit

Sorry but forgot to include that I also now have an original GM grill with original GM headlamp bezels and the lower valence. Will update pictures with it all installed shortly. So pretty much only missing the front bumper. And other minor interior pieces.
