I recently picked up a compact master and what not to make a hydro. I dont have the money to run a dual caliper set up like I would like to so I am going to have to run it in the rear break line.
The question is, what will happen on long ebrake slides when I want to use a little foot brake. what will happen to my foot pedal and what will happen to my hand brake?
thanks

usually your foot brake having the booster assist will over power your hand brake unless u got a massive lever if you do then your pedal will get pretty dam hard and brakes will be crap. being that the rear brakes engage 1st your basically gonna stop the master from being able to move trough its stroke.so what i usually try to do is initiate and try to alternate from hand brake then let go for normal braking if needed. def dual calipers are where its at.

get a proportioning valve and it will help prevent the kick back when you engage your hand brake while on the brakes...
and it is spelled brake.... not break

using and inline setup.......
if you pull the ebrake, your foot brakes wont work. however,
if you press the foot brake in a little bit, then pull the ebrake, you will still be able to use your foot brakes.
im not sure if letting off will reset it so you cant use the foot brakes. havent tried it

a friend of mine with an inline hyrdo said that if you hit the foot brakes with the hyrdo pulled, the handle will shoot forward out of your hand.
