IF (that's a really BIG IF) you can get it done, the guy should pay your like $600+ AND give you the CC for free.

It is NOT EASY, I know of a whopping 2 ppl that have done it EVER. Both said it was completely not worth it.

Good Luck.

you gotta put sensors in the car (don't know where) gotta do many things. heh, i got mine for $20 cuz i thought it was a deal, but i want to sell it cuz, like they said up above, it's not worth it.

I got the digi climate control with my clip with the wiring and I plan on getting it to work.
What you need is the wiring harness for the unit, the sun sensor, which goes on the dash, the ambient temp sensor, which goes on the console, below the radio cutout, with a bunch of slits and one door motor actuator which you will need to make a custom bracket for. Then gonna have to fiddle around with the wiring and figure out what goes where. IMO, if you can get it to work it will be nice to have. If not, oh well, it will be fun trying.

i will have everything, all that is needed is the instructions on how to do it.

There are none on the net that I have found and I've looked high and low. Will need to find a wiring diagram for a JDM S13 with digi climate control. Then it shouldn't be very difficult to figure out.

if its as much trouble as it sounds, why bother? i mean the s13 climate control unit doesn't even look that good to me... not as nice as the r33 i have lol, but seriously, i like my clunky manual ac control, dont even have to look at it to get it to what i want! :)

yeah, the manual climate is better IMO. if you prefer jdm still, then get the jdm manual climate control. i'd get that. it goes from red to blue from the left to the right. good stuff.

I think getting it to work would be awesome, also if you could write up some instructions when your done I would love to have that in my car... Its not Bling or JDM... It’s called a luxury item.

if someone could do this within a day, then they could start doing it for people. cha-ching!

my found found sum info. we should be starting as soon as we finish his engine swap. the entire dash has to be taken out and it should take 2 or 3 days maybe a lil more if we get lazy. driving with no dash here i come :D

Getting the JDM Digital climate control to work is possible BUT will take a lot of work. I met a guy about 2 years ago at a SoCal ClearCorners tech day, (back when Mike used to have them), who got his to work. I've got pictures lying around here somewhere..The guys name was Ryan & he was telling me all about it. He said you need the JDM A/C thermistor -( which has a lot of fins on it...a heat sink I guess), along with modifying the rods which activate the control doors. He used the wires & harness off the clip he had& rewired everything to get it to work. He really struggled to get that thing to work - he put in a lot of hard work & effort. But he never really got it to work properly at the time. Last time I saw him, (about a year & a half ago), he was still trying to get the actuator rods to work properly. He may have perfected it by now, but I'll never know. Haven't run into him since then.
