I installed a used Sony stereo I bought (CDX-GT200 to be exact). But the faceplate buttons don't work. The only things that work are the volume (not the sound controls if I push the dial in though) and the "off" and "eject" buttons. The wiring was done using and aftermarket car harness that corresponds to the Sony harness colors, so I doubt that's it. Is it a bad faceplate? Or is the stereo shit?
Edit: Picked up another Sony, plugged it in, and was fully functional. Don't know if it was the faceplate or stereo, itself, but problem resolved.
