Does anyone have SAFC II setting for sr20 z32 + 550 injectors????

Putting an safc on my s13 sr and I need a decent base tune for the safc2 .

Hks 550 injectors
Z32 maf

I just need something to drive around for a couple days and then drive to get it tuned. I really couldn't find the settings. I remember seeing an entire thread about settings and configurations but I can't find it now!

If you just need to drive around before getting it tuned, these mods somehow "cancels" each other from an ECU point of view (bigger injectors needs smaller K constant, bigger maf needs bigger K constant), so it should work without mods. Just dont load the car too much.

If you can set latency a bit higher for the 550s, you could have a bearable idle.

Also, please bin/sell that SAFC once you are at your tuner's place. You cant tune an engine with that, it should be used to make small corrections on an already tuned set of maps. If your tuner says he can, then by all means find another one. It relies on altering sensor signals so the ECU will change fueling ... which would be good, if the ECU did not also alter timing at the same time. Basically, these are an expensive way to make holes in your pistons.

You do know that a SAFC is not a very safe or proper way to tune a car.... All it does is trick the MAF into thinking there is more or less air going into the car.... It doesn't tune anything...

I know how an safc works guys, ive messed around with settings on them before, and understand that they just basically alter maf signal. I just need something to run the car and make sure my maf and injectors work properly on the car before I take the car to get tuned.

Anyone that ever mentioned using the Safc here at zilvia.net always says the same thing. Basically this I just need something to drive around for a couple days and then drive to get it tuned.

What's funny is that you're taking it to get SAFC tuned, when really there is no tuning involved, Once you get the settings you looking for.
Then again...You might even say something stupid like, my car runs better with 4in and 6out when the correct settings are 2in and 6out.then you'll probably say something like I have to pull 45-50% out, but it won't start. That's because you sould be pulling out 30-35%

That's why they suck, you called it messing around, instead of tuning. So when/if you take it to get tuned, the tuner will be messing around with it too!

Wrong! The mafs is not tricked at all, it's signal is altered. so the ecu is tricked, bamboozled, hornswoggled, etc.
