This truck has been with me for about 7yrs. Its a fun truck. Its been so dam dependable hasnt left me stranded. I recently bought a 4runner and i have another car in which i was selling here but decided to keep. So this baby has got to go now.
pros:
Pink slip at hand
no accidents, NOT SALVAGED
mileage 181k original miles
-engine: carb 22r known for their dependability
-5 spd manual shifts smooth
-new clutch
-changed diff oil about 8 months ago
-Brakes were done about 3 months
-16" BBS one piece wheels powder coated inner and faces black
-Great tread on tires
-Sony stereo is hidden inside glove box (I also have the original stock AM radio not installed)
-New spark plugs and wires
-new air filter
-I installed 4wd fenders to make it look a bit meaner
- Rear lowered on 3" blocks, front lowered on tweaked torsion bars
Cons:
-Has a rattle canned cobalt blue metallic paint job done by me. I didnt have money to give it a good paint job, so to have it not rust on me i decided to give it a touch up. Looks decent.
-Oil pan needs gasket leaks oil from there (i have it), i just dont have time to have it done at the moment.
- A/C used to blow real cold, but it looks like it could use a charge.
- This truck did not come with power steering from the factory.
Other than that it is dependable
