All ar15s have doubled in price due to Obama pushing to ban assault style weapons. Well mostly all guns that have a 10+ mag capacity have been marked up.

The gun laws are like the slavery laws back in the 1800's. People continued to talk about them for decades before anything ever really changed.

Yea a dpms is a 600 ar but people pay outrageous prices for them. Can't get mad at the people who price them. It's the buyers fault. If no one buys then they won't sell at that price they would be forced to sell it as a 600 ar

I've been to several gun shows and these are selling for $2,500. I believe this is a very fair price. I would do partial trades as I really want an AK. I am not really looking to make a quick buck its just thats what they now sell for.

If we break everything down a used 30 round mag is now $40! 1 .223 round is $1+ I went to several gun stores but not only is ammo sold out when they do have it in stock its now $28/ 20 rounds.

man... i paid $375 for a NEW top of the line machined receiver arsenal SR-95 AK47 like 8 years ago... damn things were going for $2500 last weekend at the gun show... crazy! The prices WILL come down in a few months once we all have enough AK, AR, and MAC-10's +ammo to take on a zombie apocalypse

Buffer carrier / assembly = $30
Barrel = $50 [or you could upgrade to chrome rifling for like $70 more]
2 lb trigger assembly = $50
stripped upper = $100
gas tube = $10
bolt assembly = $40
flip up sights = $50 [or $400 on a good holographic]
rails = $70
buttstock = $40
1 pt sling swivel or adapter = $30
1 pt sling = $10


Spend another couple of hundred dollars from the basic stuff and you could make a match-grade rifle.

You'll want to buy this stuff from a dealer. Or somewhere like cheaper-than-dirt. People at gun shows try to rip you off.

I saw a slightly us Olympic Arms AR with A2 upper go for $1650 and about shit myself because someone made about $1000 in profit. I'm sticking with Mosin's right now, lol.

Even mosins that are 150 dollar guns max are selling for 300-500 it's ridiculous.
