View Full Version : spec stage 2 or 3 on stock KA?

i need to get a new clutch and ill be getting the greddy turbo kit later this year, i just was wondering if i should go ahead and get a spec stage 2 or 3 clutch now....would there be any problems on a stockish ka (i have intake and exhaust right now)?

might as well go 3 its only like $10 more and u get that much more performance, i plan on putting a stage 3 in my car with 10psi :D

but do you think that it would be too much of a pain in the ass for regular driving? (i dont know that much about clutches, thats why im asking)

its not bad at all. But I wouldnt buy anoither one. I am making a lot of power though and its not holding what its supposed to. I never should have forsaken ACT.

I was reading a thread that it is terrible for street driving, the stage 3 that is. I ordered a stage 2, for my sr, prolly a bad idea i guess, but i dunno, ive been researching for 2 months and everybody says something different.

my spec stage 2 is holding up just fine on my kat w/ around 250whp. i love the stage 2. it is fairly easy to drive in traffic, yet it grabs like crazy.

hmmm, im not planning on making that much hp, so ill try out the stage 2 and if that doesnt work...ill try the stage 3
