I have a tru boost gauge on my s14, it currently is installed with the adapter fitting screwd on the pressure sensor and a vacuum hose hose running from the intake to the adapter fitting. Those of u who have a tru boost know what im talking about. Question is, is it safe to get rid of the adapter fitting and screw the sensor directly into the intake manifold? I am planning on removing my plenum/upper intake manifold today to tap it with the right thread size to be able to crew the sensor on it just for a cleaner look. I did a lot of research on it and couldnt find anything, however i did find out that some people have messed their map sensors by mouting them this way claiming that too much vibration is what affected their sensors.
I tried calling aem but their closed today so im on my own.
I rarely ask for help so, yeah please, anyone with experience on this, especially those of u who have done it.
Thanks

That's what I did with my map and boost sensors. Car hasn't been tuned yet but I imagine it will work just fine.
