View Full Version : CA 03 WRX swapped caged 2.2 stroker

Unfortunately I don't have the time any more to enjoy my rally project. This Subaru started off life as a 03 MBP WRX. This car isn't just a hack-job with a bolt in cage. It was caged by L-Con Race Car Engineering using a Gravel Crew Cage and is ready to be either used for hardcore rallyX or on the track. The car is at a perfect point to take either direction. Almost all the interior is still in the car (including the rear seats) to help act as sound deadening. I decided to keep the engine and power remotely stock for now other than a few bolt ons. The modifications are listed below. It's more than enough to get me in trouble in the canyons and tight dirt trails. The car has under 102k ORIGINAL miles and runs mechanically flawless. A/C blows ice cold. Despite what it was built for, the car wasn't abused (no hard launches or track days etc.) It has only been used for a few Rally X's and the occasional off-road trip. The vast majority of the miles are from when it was used as a daily driver. The following picture is the most recent one of how it currently sits. Has a new built 2.2L stroker engine from AQ performance with less then 1000 miles on it i have over 5k in reciepts for it.

The following Pics are a few months old and don't show the car with all the parts on it now. I'll get some new pictures this weekend. The car is by no means a show car. The front end is still flat black (I was planning on painting it black or the whole car WRB originally). The rear quarter panel was dented in but I have a spare panel ready to be swapped in (it isn't too bad as you can see from the last pic in the thread).

I'm asking 15.5k which is definitely A LOT less than what is invested in it.

Why the stroker build instead of EJ25?

The built stroker motor can put up with more abuse then a stock ej25, for the cost of a stock ej25 i just decided to build the ej20
