I turned my s14 off the other day and when I tried to turn it back on, it wouldn't turn over. However, I had full electrical power (headlights, radio, windows). I got out to go ask my buddy for help but when I come back, the car fires right up. But now...my factory remote for the locks will not work. :aw: Now...just tonight...I walk out to my car and it won't turn over at all. Battery still has power (lights, etc. are working). Any ideas??? Anyone???
Thanks

well you can get full power and still not have the car turn over. The starter takes a hell of a lot of power to start. hense the large power wire that goes to it. or at least thats how it is on my friends dakota. what I would do is make sure you battery has a good ground, as that is usually the problem. (it should be good though seing that you probbably didnt mess with it. but clean your terminal connections. batteries are very touchy. you have to have very very good connections or your bound to have problems. and these problems come and go as vibrations may seat the wires on the terminals at one point and may unseat at other points so check that first.

also.. check your factory alarm.. it may have a starter disable feature in it... it enables when you arm your car... try not arming your car and locking it manually...without the switch... see if that helps
