This is the thread for my beloved S14A. I basically joined Zilvia to see some cool cars and buy some fancy parts, luckily I've had success in both of these things!
So I'll keep this quite brief. Its copied and pasted from Driftworks.com
I thought seen as I do the DW blog and everyone doesn't really know what my car is about, I'd better post something up. I have a build thread on SXOC but for anyone not on there, well here it is.
I bought this car off of my mate John Fallon. John had bought it off of Kai who fitted the Work Meisters, Kai got it off of Gary. It's been around but I know the history of it and it's a good car.
So its pretty much well set up for going sideways, it's awesome fun.
Recently I've had some work done at Chizfab (drift repair/metal fab/BMW specialist). Whilst driving to Teesside (UK drift track for ya'll yanks) my Nur Spec decided it would break, everywhere. So the guys at Chizfab managed to weld it back up to how it should be. Top work and awesome pricing too. So that was that, I've also fitted ganador mirrors, silvia mats, project kics nuts, personal neo grinta and a genuine JAPAN air freshener in the 2 months I've owned it.
I plan on getting the wheels refurbed at a later date but for now I'm doing the mechanical shiznit
I had a major boost leak a couple of weeks ago. I found out it was the silicone pipe on my IC that was being burnt by my manifold. So I took that off, replaced it with an OEM bit of silicone piping whilst waiting for my samco one to come. Hopefully that'll take the heat a little better and won't melt like the other one. The bleed valve shat itself too so I'm getting a Blitz electronic boost controller fitted in a couple of weeks at Chizfab and I'll get it serviced then too, maybe.

I've been getting a bit too confident with my sideways skills and earlier on I ripped the front bumper off. So that'll be getting painted when I've done the other bits.

I'm going to get the wheels refurbed over the winter and I might paint the car too. I don't really spend my cash on anything else anyway so it may as well get wasted on this! I'm thinking MCR purple or a wacky flip sexy style effort.
Then a couple of months passed and this happened...
So over the past couple of months I've been doing shiz to this whilst it's been off the road...
My Meisters are off getting refurbed and should be back soon. Then I'm gonna get new tires, so thats the immediate stuff that'll be happening in the next 2/3 weeks.
So once the wheels and tires are on I plan on getting my side skirt repaired and painted along with panting 2 front wings as I ruined them at a crail (crail is a drift track in Scotland) day. So when they're getting painted I'll get the side indicator removed to be mad japan
I've also fitted Silvia dials and a Yashio temp gauge. The Blitz electronic boost controller has been fitted too along with a non smokey T28.

I also bought R33 wheels for it, but they're now off.

I've also bought these. So in a couple of weeks I'm gonna get a sandwich plate and some mounts to fit -

Also need to get a couple of sensors then I'll get them fitted. Also might tint rear windows, or all the windows in a weird colour. Undecided yet!

So having a bit of spare cash and being off work makes me pretty bored... So to keep me entertained I like to spend money uh oh. Should be here in two weeks, cannot wait to get it fitted!
