View Full Version : CA **CLEAN 58k S14 Garret T28 BB Turbo**
This turbo was taken from my 1994 S14 Silvia K's
Part number: 14411-69F00.
Its in great shape, turbine blades are not all chewed up and theres no real noticable shaft play over my brand new S15 turbo (in/out-up/down)
Came off of a 58*** mile motor and its never seen more than 11 PSI.

May want to check over on that turbo. That looks to me like a S14 Journal Bearing Turbo, not Ball Bearing. Which means you would be using a .60 restriction adapter instead of a .30 restriction adapter.

It came from my JDM S14 Silvia K's, I have researched the part # and unless everything I have found out is lies.....its a BB turbo.

BB turbos - 466541 - 6 bolt turbine housing to CHRA
JB turbos - 466543 - 4 bolt turbine housing to CHRA - also CHRA is the same size as the T25 JB turbos - the BB CHRA is bigger
This is a BB turbo - the only diff in the S14-S15 BB turbos are some of the S15 BB turbos have a divider at the wastegate flapper on the turbine housing and some have the nickle comp. housings - but either way you would never tell any diff in performance
Price is pretty good! I sell them rebuilt for $750.00 shipped - and before you say they cant be rebuilt look at this:

Spec R has the divider next to the W/G, S15 auto is much the same as the S14 BB. Also the S15 Spec R has some fancy coating on the turbine blades that allows slightly higher boost levels.

Sorry, I didn't mean CLEAN in the literal sence.
I was meaning it was in great working order with no blown seals.
Personally I'd be a little suspiscious of a used turbo that had been "CLEANED" prior to sale!
But to answer your other question, yes its still for sale.

Yeah but just clear it up if anyone is to ever search this in the future the auto and 5 speed S15 spec R turbos both have the divider next to the WG hole and yes the spec R has a coating on the turbine wheel and I think the housing too - but again you will never see any performance difference in any of the GT2560R AKA T28R, GT28R
