I'm selling my 1989 240sx. Asking $2,500 firm. This is priced to sale and is the lowest I'm willing to sale it for. I've just bought a new car(2003 Subaru WRX) and now need to sale this car. A lot of upgrades had been added over the 6 years I've owned this car so I'll try my best to list everything that I've installed and everything that is wrong with the car. The odometer says 242,271 but this is inaccurate due to the odometer cuts in and out of reading when driving. The motor was re-built by me in 2008. Basically refreshed the whole engine to prep for a turbo install. As can be seen in the pictures the turbo is not installed due to being laid off while in the process of the project. So the engine is completely stock beside the Injen intake. The car dose has a lot of small issue that can be fixed. One major issue is that there is rust at the top of the windshield and I believe it has rusted through as there is a water leak around that area. Please due not offer me a low ball number as I will not budge below $2,500. I know I can sell this at a higher price but I need to sell it fast as I can. The car is in Fremont and I do not drive the car anymore so serious buyers only as I will have to pick it up in Fremont before I can meet up with you. Engine
- Semi- Rebuilt KA24E. Replaced all gaskets, all the bearings, and used arp head studs.
- unknown amount of mileage after rebuild due to odometer is inaccurate (estimate about 30,000 miles)
- oil pan is tapped for a turbo drain as I wanted to turbo this engine.
- Nismo engine mounts
- Injen intake with CARB E.O. number
- Circuit Sport exhaust
Bad
- valve cover gasket is leaking.
- hydraulic lifters are ticking.
Suspension
- Megan racing coilovers
- project nissan tension rod
- project nissan rear upper control arms
- sub-frame collar (forget what brand)
- project nissan front under brace
- isis rear toe rods
Bad
- the front tension rod heim joint clunk on load reversals. Like when braking.
Brakes
- 300zx front brake calipers. They are the steel version.
- front and rear hawk hps brake pads.
- front and rear Brembo rotors
- I did not install a 300zx brake master cyclinder so the brake pedal will feel low.
Wheels
- 5zigen fn01-c 17x8 +35 hyper black
- dunlop direzza sport z1 star spec 225/45zr17
- One of the wheel has a slight curb rash as can be seen in the pictures
- I'm not sure why but the paint is fading on all the wheels
Transmission/Drivetrain
- cosmo racing short shifter
- peak performance street transmission mount.
- 300zx L.S.D.
Interior
- no crack dash
- Nardi steering wheel
- Charge speed shark bucket seat mounted on memory fab seal rail. Fabric has faded and has the normal wear on the left side from getting in and out of the car as can be seen in the pictures
- passenger side is a zenki s14 seat
- Autometer lite boost gauge and electric oil pressure gauge
- Very rare cup holder (the best thing I've ever found at pick-n-pull)
