So I've searched many threads.... and I end up coming here to ask a question.. are HKS Hipermax RS coilovers height adjustable?

I don't see the Locking collar to adjust the height...

Can someone help me out? I can't find an installation guide for these suckers.

OR I guess these are maxed out and cannot go any lower?

Well I have no first hand experience with these coilovers, but to me those purple things sure look like locking collars and the shock bodies have threading up and down them....that would seem to suggest they are adjustable. I cant imagine them having that much threads for just spring preload tension.

These are the ooooooold HKS coilovers. Single tap/1 way adjustable. You droop the whole springs to lower them, which effectively fucks up the suspension (handling wise and physically when it start eating the bump stops).

yeahh I lowered it and noticed how horrible the ride quality was so I raised it back up but definately one of the most comfortable coilovers I've driven in.. compared to megan, tein, and pbm..

I have the HKS Hipermax II coilovers and the same deal applies. You have to think these coilovers were produced before the "Hellaflush, gotta be slammed to the ground scraping off reflectors era y0!" So they are set to a particular height. You have a little customization if you droop the springs, but on mine I just have the spring fit snug and its the desired height I like (aka functional).

Thanks for your reply. I don't mind having some height for my car but I just wished my fronts would go slightly lower... .. -.-'' but definately great quality coilovers.
