View Full Version : crank pulley nut.
i need to remove my crank pulley, what size is that nut?
Can i remove it with just a socket, and something holding the crank form moving?
After i remove the pulley, the lower timing chain shield will come off right?

to hold the crank from moving, get a friend to help you out. wrap an old engine belt around the pulley as tight as possible and hold it very tight with a long bar. this way the pulley wont move when you try to twist the bolt off

that cover won't come off unless the head is loosened/off the engine, just in case you were trying to remove it with it on.;)
