you need to make sure to remove the BOV and then make sure u have a t25. once the hard pipes are all sealed u can run the boost up to 1.5bar and as soon as you let off the gas should get a nice amount of flutter.
ur welcome!

There is no BOV, I blocked completely the BOV flange :)
I have GT2876 and all pipes made of aluminum.

maybe you should remove the bov and weld the wastegate shut

This is the problem, the best flutter is on t25s, and the aluminum pipes act as insulation. u need the plastic stock SMIC piping for maximum sound. Also what Edacious said was good too! it can make all the difference if ur trying to out flutter ur friends

Actually im using an 38mm external wastegate and im not sure if the one on the turbo welded.
Im afraid I cant use the stock plastic because of front mount, what about stainless steal?

I've noticed that Ball bearing turbos don't flutter that loud. my 2871 is quiet even at 10+psi fluttering. compared to some journal bearings i've used

you wants a super loud fluttering turbo? try a K04, they scream when they flutter lol.

I'm actually surprised that this thread wasn't attacted with " get a bov your turbo is going to blow up!" what a relief

I've noticed you've mentioned that several times. What are the downsides to using a BOV? I can think of a few for no using one. Sure it may not blow up your turbo, but it does create a lot of forces acting against it, and having one should help transient response.

I couldnt find lot of information how to make the sound louder(I made lot of search)
So thats the reason why I asked if replacing the aluminium intake pipe with stainless steal one could be the solution?

shorter the intake on the turbo, the louder it will be. take the intake off completely, it will be really loud
