Description:
1995
Nissan 240sx SE
Red
Mileage :
--------Chassis :137,XXX
--------Engine : approx 88k, but no real way to prove. Going off what I've been told by previous owner (85k) plus what mileage I've put on it.
Reason For Selling:
I have only had this car for about 1 month, I bought it off of CGF!L in December. Due to being in the military, I just don’t have the time to make this car what I want it to be. Also, due to recently not passing the inspection for being too low, the wife just does not want me to keep the car. "I have to focus on my career instead of this car." I picked it up with the intentions of painting, repairing, etc this Zenki but due to time constraints, my job, and my wife (grrr) I just cannot continue the project.
You have a perfect blacktop SR20 with the gt28 it only needs an exhaust manifold gasket (leak), but with the leak it still pulls hard. The Enkeis are relatively new the owner before got them from Zenkis4Teen off of ma240sx.net he can vouch for the wheels. SBC finish then went over with gold. The tires up front have less than 3000 miles on them and the rear I got used they are Michelin pilots with about 70% tread. Car is due for an oil change.
Cons:
• Needs an alignment
• When its cold out and you press the clutch in it makes a noise. There isn’t any affects of it just a noise. I'm assuming it’s the throw-out bearing so its an easy fix
• Car needs an outer pinion gear bearing. At around 65-80 it makes a high-pitched whirring sound that also has no. The previous owner priced one Advanced for 58.99.
• The power windows crapped out on me about 3 weeks after I picked it up. It is something electrical as I changed the relay, fuse, master switch, and amp. I ended up having to cut the power window wires and hook it up to a 12v battery in order to get the windows down and get onto base. You would just need to solder the connection back together and fix the electrical.
Car runs fine and starts up without any worries or problems. It basically just needs some TLC, paint is meh and the fixes that were noted above. I really wanted this to work out but due to my schedule and other factors, I just cannot give this car the attention it deserves. It isn’t a jaw-dropper but is a project, it does perform due to the fact it has numerous mods listed below.
Engine / tranny:
*S14SR20DET running 10psi right now
* Oil changed with Mobil and mobil 1 filter about 3k ago.
*S15 injectors
*300zx fuel filter
*Megan Racing Tubular Manifold with Isis axleback. (About 2 months old.)
*Invidia Downpipe
*Megan Racing testpipe
*Walboro 255 fuel pump
*EVO 8 intercooler (mounted in front of radiator---"hidden mount")
* HKS BOV
*Mishimoto alminum radiator
*2 new ISIS electric fans
*Black Samco Sport silicone radiator hoses
*water temp sensor in upper hose (not hooked up)-stock one still works though
*Some manual boost controller
*APexi cone air filter
*Wiring specialties wiring harness (upper and lower)
*Rear mount battery –(it got so cold out this past week that one side cracked)
*Spec stage 2 clutch
*Driveshaft shop 1 piece steel driveshaft
*Tomei Ttrax 2.0 Way Differential (4 Months old maybe)
*Stinless braided turbo lines for oil and coolant
*Isis short shifter
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Suspension / wheels:
*Stance basic coilovers (have around 20k miles on them)
*Circuit sport rear upper control arms
*Enkei RPF1
-18x 10 +15
-18x 9.5 +15
*New steering rack was installed last year and has about 6000 miles on it
*Brand new Stance Aluminum rear subframe bushings.
*Brand new Stance aluminum rear diff bushings.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exterior / interior:
Pretty much stock SE other than:
* 2 JDM seats the left is in really good condition the right one is a bit torn up.
* LCD Touchscreen (works great plays mp3 cds/ regular cd/ DVD/ and has a mini USB feature and Bluetooth) – currently not hooked up
*HID plug and play kit (I think its 6k)
*96 Grill.
*Carbon fiber hood - spray painted black
*The front bumper is pretty worn, was going to get the Navan bumper
*Dash is in rough shape and has cracks on top.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It does needs some work, but not too bad. The carbon fiber hood was rattle canned flat black due to fading. There are some small dents here and there, but nothing real major, it is an 18 year old.
Besides those things, this is the bad:
*No A.C. – it has it but was ripped out for the “hidden” front mount.
*Typical dashboard crack
*The registration/stickers expire January 31st and I just attempted an inspection and it failed. The guy was a hard ass saying I was too low, turn signals didn’t work (which they work), etc.
If there are any questions pm me or post it on here and I will PM you when I see it. If you need more pictures also let me know. I will be in the field from Monday to Thursday so my brother will do his best to reply to the PM's, comments, etc if there are any.
s14 Sale - a set on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157632036266332/with/6831712993/) <----Go here for more pictures. You will see it with a body kit on and the aftermarket steering wheel. These are no longer on the car and the interior is back together. Exterior looks like the picture in this thread.
Price: $5800 - If you have a cash price that you believe is reasonable then feel free to PM me the worst I can do is say no, thank you and move along.
Thanks for looking
