OK, So I have a 92 s13 automatic. I already pulled the engine etc, cleaning up the engine bay, and Already ordered an RB20DET
The RB20DEt comes with the engine, ecu, wiring, tranny, accessories, etc..
it however ( I think! ) DOES NOT come with :
Maf + Ignitor
Questions:
Can I use the KA24De maf? or what maf will work?
what Ignitor do I need?
Has anyone used these mounts, or think they will be ok?

Does anyone know if the Automatic s13 has a VLSD? or just open.
Also Wiring..... I can handle the wiring, found a few guides.
Does anyone know if the Cam/crank signals on the RB20DET are MAG or HALL?
Any tips, guides, helpful hints etc I will gladly accept!
PLEASE DO NOT : tell me how you don't like the RB20, or it was a dumb decision, etc.

Just buy these McKinney RB20DET Motor Mount Kit (http://rawbrokerage.com/McKinney-RB20DET-Motor-Mount-Kit-240sx-Mck-rb20bluekit.htm) don't waste your money on shitty mounts.

Go to Nissan and get the z32 ignitor retro fit kit. Comes with the plugs and ignitor chip. De pin old plugs and repin new plugs. Theres a write up online showing you how to do it. Way better than a stock rb20 chip. As far as the maf im pretty sure a ka24 one wil not work.

Don't bother with the stock ignition system, do yourself a favor and buy some LS series coils and run those. Read up on 90% of RB swaps have ignition issues because of old/bad OEM coils.
Ebay mounts? Really.... Go buy siko mounts or McKenny mounts, something that actually works well.
Wiring, go buy a premade harness from wiring specialities, everything is brand new and you won't have to track down grounding issues because you spliced together two 20+ year old harnesses.
MAF - Z32 and nistune. There is no USDM equivalent to the stock RB20 MAF.
Also RB20s are now 20+ year old motors, water pump, timing kit and a gasket kit would be a very good idea. It all comes down to not being a cheap ass and buying quality parts.

ok I was just asking about those mounts, I don't mind buying the McKinney mounts, but I was reading on here how people had issue with them, the engine sat too far forward, having to bang the mounts in to fit, etc..
I am not trying to be a cheap ass and I want this setup done right. Only reason I didn't post about the McKinney mounts is because what I said above.
I plan on swapping over a lot of things and getting rid of the stock crap on it.
for example :
I will swap out the stock Ceramic turbo right away
the Injectors will be swapped right away with bigger ones ( which I can tune for with AEM FIC ) I have never used Nistune before, and I know AEM FIC pretty well, hoping that will do
getting rid of all the old sensors/ connectors with new
Belts, water pump, gaskets
I'm going to disassemble almost everything on that block and clean it up / replace what needs replacing
I am not going to re-use any of the old 20+ year old wiring, I am going to make my entire harness myself from fresh stuff.

The McKinney mounts have a ton of adjustability, some people say that you don't have to pound the trans tunnel for a RB20 but you may have to depending on what mounts you go with. A OEM graphite gasket with some ARPs will last you well into the 400+ whp range, also be weary of the slew of shitty aftermarket intake manifolds for the RB20, take a look into PNT performance as they are the only ones that have anything of decent quality. Also again take a look into Nistune and a harness from WiringSpecialties, will cost you 800 dollars or so for the setup but it will be trouble free, plug it in and you're ready to rock.
I'll just leave this here :)

Also if you're looking for some injectors I have some nismo 555cc pink tops.

I dont want to use any old beat 30 year old injectors. I am going to have a rail made ( unless I can find some ) that support 14mm Oring injectors and use my set of Siemens Deka IV 60lb injectors and tune it on AEM fuel ignition controllah
Once my engine gets here ( it shipped today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ) I will look it over and see everything that I need to buy. I know a waterpump is 99.2% needed, but I don't want to get anything until the engine actually comes
