Tach Help?

Hey have an 89 S13 with a sr20 blacktop in it. Has a JDM cluster and the Speedo does not work at all and the revs are super low and off.
Was trying to solve this problem. Any help thanks

if it was anything like mine my JDM speedo Did not work on my car i dont know why tach worked. i swaped speedo from a USDM cluster then tach didnt work, swapped tach from JDM Cluster worked. to much fucking around i say

Sr and dohc clusters will work on both sr and dohc. Sohc the tach won't work on either dohc or sr. Sounds like the cluster you have is damaged. The vss is the same on all 3 motor types and I am pretty sure it is the same on ca's too. You could also have a wiring issue. Who did your harness and is it done correctly?

Thats the thing i just bought the car n have no clue. The guy before me said the US spedo didnt work either so im thinking it might be wiring but dnt know where to start :/
