not sure about belt, never done then, but thermostat is so easy.

Sure is, I removed my thermo, water pump, and belts very easily!

tis not hard.. i have torn the front end off teh car to change belts like 2358962345 times... i replaced the waterpump, thermo, and all belts not to long ago, when i put on my underdrive pulley. stupid front main seal is leaking so i have to take it back off but im going with electric fan setup to get teh clutch fan out of the way :) but its not difficult at all they have the losening bolts and so on...

belts are easy. Just make sure you tighten them back up correctly.

you have to take off the whole front end just to replace the belts? goddamn! the bumpers and everything? i bought mine yesterday and need to put on 3 of them. looks like a have a job ahead of me

lol thats what I'm thinking man,they are like "its not that hard" then they say "you only have to tear apart the entire front end"...WTF! I'm hoping they only mean minor stuff like radiator shroud,and clutch fan??

so how do you get the belts off then? do you have to unbolt the pullies and remove them?

On my ol' chevelle it was easy,damn easy--> Unbolt alternator bracket,move alt.,pull old belt off/put new one on->rebolt bracket and enjoy:)

ah ok, on my celi i had a belt tensioner that i just pulled to l oosen the belts, but anyway i have an SR so i'm putting new belts on while it's not in the car yet

haha..
all the belts can be takin off by laxing them up with each's respective tensioner...
they are relatively easy to figure out, just look at the car..as for the thermo, thats easy as well, if u have specific questions about either just ask.

S13 DOCH, I did not put them back on because the motor is blown. They were the first few items removed though, right after removing the undercover, cooling fan and shrouding. I'm sure installation would have been a cinch.
As far as removing the belts, loosen the adjusting bolts and it should slide right off.
