Hey guys-
Like the title says I would like to trade my SL500 for something I can have fun in. I bought this with the intention of slamming it, and throwing some wheels on and dailying it. I got bored and bought an evo instead.
I am now looking to trade for an e30, e36, or 240.
The car is in great shape and needs very little to be a 7-8k car.
The good:
-Paint and body in great shape. A few small paint blemishes here and there but nothing really noticeable. With a good detailing this thing would look near new.
-Recent rebuilt Transmission (has 1 year left on warranty) with receipts
-New water pump
-New tires and brakes
-New Battery
-Runs and drives great. driven to Houston and back with no issues
The bad:
-needs the upper Powersteering line (Cheap fix)
-needs new spark plugs (car has been sitting for 2 months)
-Head liner peeling off of the hard top
-Small tear in passenger seat.
(Most of these things sellers wouldnt normally disclose, but I want this to be as honest of a transaction possible. I am cool with getting a car that needs a little maint. or work as long as it is what I am looking for.)
KBB is 8300 for this in Fair condition. I am valuing it around 5k for trade maybe a little less if it is something I really like. Im open to offers.
