i have a 1989 240sx with a ka24e and today on my way to school it was starting good runniing strong. around 3 i came home parked it outside my house went in for a while and came back outside and car would not start. fuel is good can hear it prime nice and loud. checked fuel and its good, installed intake a few days ago and ran perfectly if not better. motor is a rebuild with 10k miles on the full rebuild. battery is good. starter is good, maf is plugged in, new ect, no fuses are blown. what could it be.. was driving good got home came back a hour later and wouldnt start anymore... what could it be? any idea.. help me brainstorm possible causes

Try holding the accel. pedal down while cranking to see if it starts. Could be a bad IACV. Do you have emissions removed?

Have done that.too no luck. All emission parts there except catalytic converter

Pull ECU for codes.

Start looking at the ignition switch. Could be bad at this point.

ok narrowed i tested the starter yesterday and it tested bad that shit was seized. Ok so i replaced it with a new one i go to crank it and its fine for now. i go to start it again this time i put starter fluid through the intake and it starts right up. but dies soon after. so it has to be a fuel related problem. i go to start it again and the starter keeps on spinning as long as the battery is connected. could i be a bad fuse?. thats stuck open? any help would really be appreciated

ignition switch is could be shorted out, thats why the starter goes on when the battery is connected. disconnect the ignition switch harness and reconnect battery. if the starter does not come on, switch is bad.

Swap with a known good ECU.

Check grounds, just an idea. If you just replaced the intake and unplugged the maf, that would be the first thing I look at. Maybe the maf fuse went out?

Fusible link on the b+ side was bad that created no.injector pulse..car runs now
