I want opinions from people who have raced with the depowered rack and pinion on their S14. I am interested in Autocross and Road Course only as drifting is not the intention of this build. The car will only be on the street to get to the track or to get tuned so slow parking lot maneuvers won't be a daily concern. I am planing to do it by disassembling the ps rack and pinion and cutting the piston like the Miaita guys do so that fluid resistance doesnt come into play... I would also like to note I am running 265's up front amd worried that it kight be too much tire with no assistance.

There is a thread on this already.

I read every page and it was discused in thorough how to do it properly and how it doesnt work well for drifters. I read a few people ask a similar question as me but it wasn't answered from anyone with experience in an S14 with this set up. I know it works well on the Miata. I want to hear specifically from people who autocross and road race they're S14 and how they like it or don't.
I suppose I could have put this at the end of that old post. Is that your request of what I should do in the future?
