Im looking for a complete swap for a project of mine. I check this frequently so just post your setup in this thread with a picture, specifications, AND A FUCKING PRICE. Thank you

I am leaning towards an RB20DET but would also consider VG30ET, VG30DETT, RB25/26DETT (if the price is good) maybe a 2J...i dunno. Lets see whats available

Lol cmon bro I'm well aware of this. That's why I put my price can go up or down depending what it is. But I'd prefer to spend around that.

If you got a dope ass RB25/2J swap at a good price lmk. If not then go borrow your moms dildo and get fucked.

1300 will probalby get you a bad SR, or a CA.

RB/2J is out of the price range.

Yeah? Is $1300 unrealistic? I'm aiming for something basically stock no upgrades.

Hahahaha 1300 equals a sr with a hole in the block.

Price adjusted. If you don't have a swap you don't need to comment.

yeah, it is.

if you want to go stock, you best bet would to be set aside a certain amount, and try to budget everything under it.

the best choice i made for my swap was having the money all up front. from there i just found the things i needed for good deals, and bought them.

there are some things you want to already change, like the clutch, good fluids, the rubber hoses, etc. Those will only run you bill up.

you do it now, so it's fresh, and you don't have to do it later.

I have an extra $1000 dollars set aside for the small shit and necessary elements to make the swap work. Would $2k be a decent starting point? I appreciate the input thank you.

lol 1500 for that.

just be careful, and KNOW what you're buying. so you know how to fix problems in the future.

Yeah SR will be my last resort. They are everywhere and fairly cheap.

you don't have enough money set aside for a 6 cylinder setup. it just costs wayyyyyy to much.

maybe an RB20, but i wouldn't even look at those. they are about as shit as a stock KA.

Compared to a VG30ET is the RB20 more or less powerful.

your best bet is just getting a Z32 if you really want to have 6 cylinders. it's quick, but it's not going to be as fast as a modded SR.

you can make power from anything, it just depends on how deep your pockets are. you pay to play, but sometimes you can get away with paying less. my 350whp SR'd s13 will run be under $2.5k, for the motor setup itself. I have good stuff in my motor too. I set aside maybe $500 for other accessories I bought, just to install it, and make my motor run for years on end.

if you're at a point in your life where you can't afford all this in cash, don't be stupid and blow your money on something like this. save up, use your money to make you more money.

people here have $15k Type X s13's but they work an average paying salary making $30k a year... it's really stupid.

I have a VG30ET currently and it is decent on power. I might even just do a twin can swap from a Z32.
