Stabilizer bar Question

The factory stabizer bar on the front and rear of the car....is it tensioned in any way or just tensioned against itself....what i mean is if I was to try and remove it would it want to snap back at me or anything?

yarrr it would not be under tension. ye have nothing to worry about.

no, it won't snap, it's only bolted in place, and meant to work only when there is force put upon it. So yeah, you can take if off without worries
