s14 - CF center console stuff. (shifter finishing plate, radio trim piece) i think F.K. made them, but i don't know if they still do.
also, a nice CF trunk lid.

The trunk, but then again I already have traction problems. Probably doors, but not hpi's type, I yould have thin sheet doors that only hold up the plexiglass windows and no rolling mechanism. that would probably save 40lbs instead of hpi's 30. (not including the plexiglass weight deduction)

there's already CF hatch for fastbacks! I want one as soon as they make them available! that + lexan = tyteness like a virgin!
Other than that I don't care for carbon fiber nothing, if a fiberglass version was available, I'd buy that instead.

Search. So many people come through "I can make uber l33t shiz for y0 240 datz mad tyte!" and nothing ever happens.
*Reminiscing about the good 'ol days when Zilvia was small and when someone said they'd do or make something, it happened.*

Why a Dash... Have you ever lifted up a S13 dash, it weights like nothing, its a shell, it weights damn near nothing.. maybe 10-15 lb.
But the doors wouldent be to bad, throw some Lexan in their, yum, I have an extra door, i might try to swizz cheese it (cut out unwanted un needed metal) and see how much I lose, and see if its worth it :-D

interior trim, esp the center s14 console around the radio and even climate control. also the trim around the shifter boot. i have yet to see one in person that *isn't* cracked. oem replacements are super expensive and nobody seems to have a fresh set, at least out here on the east coast.

hell yea!! i should be using GOOGLE more eh? thanks.. :w00t:
you guys are fruity. interior trim.. hahaha sorry guys i dont mean to offend but if someone asked me anything carbon fiber...i'm thinkin save weight on something big and heavy,..who cares about interior trim? the whole point of carbon fiber being used on race cars is it's strong and saves weight. interior trim could be carbon fiber sticker and it would be good enough.
epidemiksx? a gas door ??
a carbon fiber subframe would cost way too much anyways but a good answer for a "if you could have anything carbon fiber" question
if the original poster is actually starting to make CF parts, then i understand catering to the needs of the mindless sheep style consumers of the auto industry. Interior trim for eveyone!!!
O and APC RULESS !!!

but it would look so pretty :hsdance: ... plus who is going to make plastic interior trim replacements when OEM is there. at least if its CF parts u draw in people who want to replace broken shit as well as your rice-a-roni drivers. everyone wins! even the ricers. i mean... $80 freakin' bucks for a plastic garnish on my s14? its ridiculous. i'd rather just glue it together and cover it up with spray or something.
edit: whoa... i should glue it together, sand it down and spray the whole piece over. its brilliant! thank u westborough!

Thanks for the responses. I wanted to know cause my brother was gonna start up a carbon fiber business and I just wanted to see what the 240's needed or wanted. So if there are anymore ideas out there, it would be greatly appreciated to hear from everyone! Thanks again!

All sorts of carbon fiber trim pieces and useless panels are oh so gay, only thing I wouldn't mind is maybe a front or rear diffuser or just a c/f tray to replace the nasty stock one under the motor.
I know with my car any of these pieces would be destroyed in a matter of minutes I don't think c/f likes to be drug on the ground..... :-p
