240sx KA/SR Transmissions

I have a question. I own a 1995 240sx KA24DE Auto and want to convert to Manual. Can I use a SR transmission on my KA24DE? I've seen posts where they said I can but I would have to change the bell housing on tranny.

I found 1993 KA tranny on craigslist and was wondering if it would work on my car. I am confused because someone told me I can't. I have to get a Nissan 240sx KA24DE 1995-1998 tranny.

S13 KA tranny will work, but you will need an S14 speed sensor for it.
